Crafts

The Homecraft Building houses over 200 classes of competition items. Be sure to stop in to enjoy some samples of the handiwork created by local citizens.

The Silent Auction, held in The Homecraft building showcases handcrafted and unique items that make awesome gifts. Among the items are gift certificates, handmade baby gifts and novelty household articles.

Children's Activities

There are numerous free activities for children. Most of the activities are located at the S.W. corner of the fairgrounds near the Homecraft building. The big sand pile with toys and the free games area (opposite sides of the building) are open all weekend long Saturday and Sunday have The Petting Zoo with both farm and exotic animals. It’s fun to watch the animals, but more fun to observe the children’s reactions.

Children's Center

Come and visit the back of the Homecraft building and plan to stay a while. The children may play Bee Bowling, play with the farms and animals in our mini barn or sit a while and create a crafting treasure. We have puzzles to assemble, car to race, and puppets for our puppet stage. Each child (up to 12 yrs) may choose 2 free activities to complete through the use of the supplies provided at the fair. This is the perfect environment for children to relax and adults to rest. Painted or glued activities may be left on site for pick-up on your way home.

The Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull is always a great event for the youngsters. There is no registration fee, and a small treat is given to all participants. Milk and cookies are donated by Saputo Neilson Dairy and Terra Cotta Cookies, both located in Halton Hills.
